  I served as pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Nebraska City, 1998-2002. In 2023, I will celebrate my 70th year as a minister. I am in my 80s now. I spent my time supplying, teaching, and writing books.

  If you're looking for a fundamental, bible-preaching Baptist, don't look here. May be what you need, but there was little to no reverence in the way they dressed (Sunday morning, pastors in a polo shirt), they played an unintelligible rock song to start off the sermon and proceeded to preach from the lyrics. Again, may be what you need, but I was passing through on travel, wanted to spend some of Sunday in church, got up at 5am to be there for the sermon, and felt like I wasted my time and effort.

  A place where the truth of who Jesus is spoken, the love of Christ will be felt, and restoration and redemption is available. The people are authentic. So is the worship. All are welcome. Come as you are.

  My husband and I visited Faith Baptist Church last August. They have a new pastor and worship team! The pastor Karl Forehand preaches straight from the Bible and encourages the great commission. Its a small church with a big heart.
